Region: This product of excellence and quality, with traditional characteristics, originates from the Douro, a World Heritage Site.

Winemaking: The grapes were fermented in traditional stainless-steel tanks for 7 to 10 days at temperatures of 22° to 25°. The wines are cleanly extracted into French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine is then matured for 15 months in barrels.

Tasting notes: ROLA VINHA DAS MARIAS Douro Red is very aromatic and elegant on the nose. The fruit used to make this wine shines through even with its long maturation on wood. Notes of ripe fruit, black plum, spices, and wood. The Balance of smoothness and body with a long and persistent finish makes this ROLA a very elegant wine.
