Region: This product of excellence and quality, with traditional characteristics, originates from the Douro, a World Heritage Site.

Winemaking and maturing: The grapes were fermented in traditional stainless-steel tanks for 7 to 10 days at temperatures of 22° to 25°. The wine is cleanly extracted into 225-litres French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine is then matured for 12 months in barrels.

Tasting notes: ROLA Reserva Douro Red is very aromatic and elegant on the nose. Ripe fruit, plum, spices and hints of wood. A wine with lively tannins and a long persistent finish.
