MALU & MAITÊ DOURO DOC

Region: This product of excellence and quality, with traditional characteristics, originates from the Douro, a World Heritage Site.

Winemaking and maturing: The grapes were fermented in traditional stainless-steel tanks for 7 to 10 days at temperatures of 20° to 22°. The wine is cleanly extracted into 500-litres French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine is then matured for 15 months in barrels.

Tasting notes: MALU Douro Tinto is very aromatic and elegant on the nose. Ripe fruit, spices, and wood notes. A wine of intense tannins, with a long and persistent finish.
